John Childs and Donnie Burkett finished again as the 45th Poor Boy Tournament Champions for the year 2009.  For the first time in the history of this tournament, the same doubles partners have claimed victory four years in a row. 

Second place was secured by Robert Barron and Forrest Blanton of Brownwood.  Third place went to Brian Skala and Bryan Ayers of Haltom City.  Fourth place finishers were Bryce Ellison and Billy Hargett of Temple.    Fifth and sixth place ties went to Chris Verner and Jason Stephens of Temple and Charlie Hoot and  Chili Childress of Brownwood.
